Lonny Middleton
Founder & Exec Chef
Lonny Middleton first came to the Canadian
Rockies from Vancouver in 1990 as an apprentice Chef at the
Banff Springs Hotel. His career took him overseas to the Dolder
Grand in Zurich, the Hilton in Paris and onboard the Royal
Viking Sun, the #1 rated Cruise Ship at the time.
In 1997 he came home to Banff with his British
wife Fiona. Their skills in the hospitality field honed in on
the need for a first class intimate Inn experience in Canmore
Alberta. The building of the Inn was a dream come true for the
couple who now spend their time between the Rockies and the Gulf
Island where they are dreaming up another treat for their
guests.

See You in the Rockies
Because of the size of the Inn and our
experienced team you can be sure that your unique needs will be
taken care of whilst in the Canadian Rockies. We are happy to
share our love of the area and enthusiasm to live and play here
with you. During cocktail hour any one of us can provide
detailed travel plans for your next day’s exploration, or
recommendations for dining and activities in Rockies. Come join
us at A Bear & Bison Country Inn and catch the dream….
